What are the different products?
There are several different types of products. Many products use different ingredients, but all of them are designed to help people fall asleep in a safe and comfortable way.
Sleep pill: Sleep pills work by targeting the part of the brain that controls sleep, the hypothalamus, which regulates the level of alertness and energy. Sleep pills can make people more sleepy than necessary, but they can also make them sleepy in ways that feel good. Sleep pills, like Adderall, can help people fall asleep more easily, but they may also cause addiction, so they are not recommended.
Sleep-aids: Sleep-aids include medicines that are intended to help you fall asleep more quickly, but some of them also act like drugs. For example, certain over-the-counter medications can make you sleepy, so they may be a bad idea for people who take them regularly. Sleep-aids, like a medicine to treat low blood pressure, may increase the amount of sleep you get each night, but they also affect your mood, appetite and stress levels. Mild sleepiness: Mild, short-term sleepiness (drowsyness) usually goes away on its own after a few hours or days, but sometimes mild short-term sleepiness (drowsyness) happens for hours, which can make you feel fatigued and unable to do anything.
